John W. Venskus is an associate at Bayard. John’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial transactions, including securitization transactions, corporate formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and drafting and secured lending. John joined Bayard in 2007.

John has a broad range of experience in private placement of securities in the U.S. and U.K., mergers and acquisitions, and aircraft lease financings. John previously served with the U.S. Army, Judge Advocate General Corps., where he served as an attorney in multiple leadership roles, including Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Acting Chief of Military Justice and Chief of Legal Justice.
